Little odd tho it effects this game more than other games but I guess that rending high quality 3D water is more heavy work than newer games, plus newer games might be more optimized. I think the performance issues are not hardware related (I got this game running on a computer with a 10y old cpu, 4g ram and no gpu - 8 fps, a good result). Cause even at low gpu usage fans go vroom. Sorry I didn't understand you meant RAM, I thought you were talking about VRAM or Graphics memory, My VRAM is 8 GB like a regular 2070 and my graphics memory is 5GB but my RAM is 16 GB.įrom what I think, it might be a stressed component like the powersupply. Also don't mix a let's say 2666 Mhz with a 3200Mhz RAM So if that's the case, get yourself some additionai RAM and make sure all RAM bars share the same specs.įor example insert 2x2Ggb, 2x 4gb or 2x 8GB RAM. That way your system can't use dual channel mode, which cost's your system a lot of performance. Make sure you've got at least 8GB RAM, better go for 16GB.Īlso: It looks like you've got different RAM bar memory sizes installed (maybe 1GB + 4GB?) That's an odd memory size and also pretty low for current games. I'm not super techy so I might not exactly understand but yeah it's a regular rtx 2070 My old workstation PC has a GTX 960, slightly overclocked, my newer PC has a regular NVIDIA rtx 2070 so its 8GB VRAM and 5GB Memory according to Speccy
